SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association actor Nathalie Bennett is a native of Oakland, California and a UCLA graduate.

 

Ms. Bennett has worked in film, theatre, television, commercials, industrial videos, voiceover, and print. 

 

Nominated Best Principal Actress by the San Francisco Theatre Critics Circle for her riveting work in the acclaimed two-person dramedy, The Mountaintop, Ms. Bennett has performed in numerous stage productions: the title role in Toypurina at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, leads in The Girls of Summer, Hairitage, When We Were Colored, A Raisin the Sun, The Piano Lesson, Steal Away, and many others.  

 

Ms. Bennett is the rare artist who can single-handedly carry a solo stage play, enrapturing the audience with her vivid characterizations for the duration of the show. She has performed three such solo shows on-stage: A Shadow in the Clouds - The Bessie Coleman Story; Yesterday Came Too Soon - The Dorothy Dandridge Story; and Tituba, which toured in Berkeley, San Diego, the Virgin Islands, and NYC.  

 

Films include, among others, Netflix’s Rebirth and award-nominated Jacob Stone. Additional on-camera work includes TLC network, Nike, 2K Games, Shaklee, Symantec, Cisco, University of Phoenix, Yahoo!, etc.  Print work includes Oxbryta, HealthNet, Pottery Barn Kids, The Travel Channel, and University of Phoenix. Voiceover work includes commercial and animation productions.

 

Ms. Bennett is skillful at both comedic and dramatic acting, invariably receiving standing ovations and rave reviews for her stage performances. She trained at the American Conservatory Theatre (San Francisco), with Margie Haber (Los Angeles), with Brian Reise (Los Angeles), and at Disney Voiceover Animation Intensive (Los Angeles). She studied Film and Television Production at USC. 

 

She is a proficient violinist, having studied and performed solo and ensemble for many years.

 

Nathalie enjoys working with puppets, and is a consummate Sumo Wrestling and NBA fan. She loves beaches, museums, and traveling. She is also an avid reader (so many books, so little time!), a superlative ping pong player, and an aficionado of both Chicago and New York style pizzas. She has a rambunctious Yorkshire terrier, a gorgeous Siamese, and three show-stopping Ragdolls.
